Celia has been with Babson Diagnostics for 5 years in various roles. Her current role as Collection Manager includes training collection techs, ensuring proper set-up in the pharmacy space, and providing ongoing monitoring and support to our retail partners. The pharmacy staff members who will act as BetterWay collection techs will have access to Celia’s expertise and assistance as they begin to offer BetterWay blood testing to their customers.
Celia says her time with Babson from the earlier start-up days to now has never been boring. She has worn many company hats from her first role as Office Manager/ Executive Assistant to her role as Clinical Research Associate, and then Marketing Specialist and each one of these roles has given her the experience to become Babson’s first Collection Manager. She feels like her story reflects the abundance of opportunity at Babson and she states, “it's possible to expand into any area where you show interest, aptitude, and willingness to learn”.
As Babson prepares for the launch of BetterWay, Celia knows her efforts will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction. Her goal is to make sure each site has a smooth and successful BetterWay launch for both the pharmacy team and customers. Celia says, “I enjoy what I do because I believe making healthcare accessible truly matters.”
